Product Description

Hand Painted Stained Glass Doors - Set 2
Collectible leaded and hand painted stained glass. These unusual and finely crafted art glass works were custom made for the owners of a home that once stood near Oakmont in Sonoma County, California. Silver stained and hand painted kiln fired stained glass paintings, with coordinating leaded stained glass panels by Glasmalerei Grosskopf in Germany, c. 1970. The owners commissioned these works through a college friend, the son of one of the three Grosskopf brothers. Originally designed for the formal dining room, these two pairs of doors would provide grand entrances to any room, especially in a restaurant or winery. This is set two of two. Vintner scenes are of a young man and girl harvesting the grapes and men enjoying the fruits of their labor at the vineyard. Original brass hardware is included. Panels may be removed and modified.
