Aurora Colors is the only fusing and stained glass business in the North Bay of it's kind because of the wide variety of services in addition to the products. It is owned and operated by Lyndon Pullins and myself, Vangie Pullins. Both of us are glass artists and designers, instructors and manage our business full time. We do not have employees.

I founded Aurora Colors in Petaluma, California in July, 1996, two years after I cut my first piece of glass. It was born from my desire to live a life immersed in the glass arts, instead of paper. That dream was finally realized when Lyndon and I decided to open our retail stained glass supply store and public studio in Petaluma in February, 2004. We immediately added services like fusing and stained glass instruction, as well as leaded window and lamp repair. After a year and a half we moved to old downtown Petaluma and our location was about 5,000 sqft. With such a beautiful available space and much encouragement from others, we added a fine art gallery for 2D and 3D visual arts, and exhibited juried works by national and regional artists from September, 2006 through December, 2009.

The downward spiral of the economy beginning in the summer and fall of 2007 brought us to our eventual decision to downsize. We closed our fine art gallery and moved our glass art store and studio from Petaluma to Rohnert Park in January, 2010.

It has been a good move. We are more centrally located for our customers coming from all surrounding counties and it is only about 15 minutes from our home in Petaluma. The parking is great for our customers and with about 1600 sqft we have a very comfortable store and studio for ourselves, customers and students. We have also maintained our online fine art gallery and sell nationally.

With 17 years of experience, many businesses refer customers to us. We have become well known for only offering and producing heirloom quality and original glass artwork, for bent glass repairs, for our willingness to personally assist customers in a variety of art glass techniques, and for our wide selection of glass related products for many types of people - hobbyists, artists, homeowners, designers, retail store owners and contractors.

With this new website, we are metamorphosing again. Adding wholesale distribution of glass related products and a variety of new glass artwork is new territory for us. We believe in these products and the people behind them. This new site is growing every day. Enjoy!
