Historical Presentation on "The Eggery"

In celebration of Petaluma's 150th anniversary, please join Aurora Colors Gallery for a free presentation by Marv Dolowitz on June 21 from 2-3pm. He traveled to Petaluma from New York City with his bride, Shirley, on their honeymoon in 1949, with the intention of becoming an art director in S.F. Instead, he went into a partnership on an egg ranch that he eventually developed into "The Eggery" - a retail farm store, cafe and art gallery, that showcased belly dancing festivals and local musicians, including Kate Wolf and Scott Gerber. Exhibit of memorabilia from May 30-July 6, 2008. Learn how Marv, Shirley and their four children survived the end of an era. Marv was certainly an innovator ahead of his time!
