"Summer Afternoon" fine art exhibit
July 11th through Labor Day, September 1st.
Reception on July 12 from 6:30-8:30pm. 

68 original paintings by 8 award-winning California landscape and still life artists will be exhibited on both floors of our gallery.

Featuring our new resident artists:
Barbara Conley of Sonora, nationally known for her nostalgic landscapes scenes of the mid-West and California;
Cara Brown of Fairfax, debut exhibit in a gallery - her watercolors do not fade in sunlight and look like photographs;
Robert Benson of Kenwood, known for his wineries and vineyards;
Timothy Dixon of Forestville, grew up in Petaluma, (we sold 2 of his paintings to Agilent Technologies);
Saroj Heron of Occidental, her old world, classic style paintings are treasures;
Ronald Hall of Petaluma, known for his bridge paintings, he also loves to paint fishermen and outdoor scenes;
Evelyn Dolowitz-Nitzberg born in Petaluma, known for her works of old toys, her classic still lifes are just as collectible; and
Dee Andreini of Sebastopol, known for her ethereal landscapes, is providing a work to represent Aurora Colors at a county-wide exhibit in August.

Located in the Old Petaluma Opera House built in 1870, our gallery has hardwood floors, high ceilings, and contemporary museum track lighting. There are two galleries - our main floor and on the mezzanine overlooking the main floor on three sides. They may function as one large exhibition space or contain two to three concurrent shows featuring regional and national artists, or exhibitions of community interest.
