"Youths and Teachers of Petaluma Art Exhibit"

Community Art Exhibit: March 7 through 14, 2009
Reception:  Sat., March 7, 1 to 4 pm

March is National Youth Art Month!
Aurora Colors Gallery presents "Youths & Teachers of Petaluma,” our 4th Annual Petaluma Artists show.

Petaluma youths exhibit in 2D and 3D. Home-schooled youths and students from various schools participated. A special thank you to the Adobe School District for distributing our Call for Art to each and every teacher!

Many thanks to the young Petaluma artists, ages 7 to 18, and their teachers who worked so hard assisting with the exhibit from: Boys and Girls Club, Petaluma Junior High, Casa Grande High, San Antonio High, McDowell Elementary, McNear Elementary, Valley Vista Elementary, Valley Oaks, and Crossroads Community Day School.

And a very special thank you to the following for finding time to assist with our reception and help support this exhibit:  Maggie Stader, Evelyn Dolowitz Nitzberg, Gina Benedetti Petnic, and Natasha Marquardt. Our wonderful local artist Jazelle Lieske will provided face painting for a very small fee.
