Eliminate chipping and give your glass a pencil (rounded) edge at the same time!  Perfect for mirror and fine glass, too. Recommended by Spectrum Glass for use with their mirror SilverCoats glass. Simply position the head in your grinder so that your glass will pass throgh the groove in the bit. The profile of this bit will slightly taper the back and front side of your glass or mirror. The fine grit will leave a soft frosted and smooth chip-free edge.

Made in Germany for Mika International. Made to fit all grinders. Grinding head (aka grinding bit) is embedded with a coating of diamond crystals in various sizes in a layer of nickel. The near spherical form of these crystals guarantees consistent and long-lasting performance when efficiently used. See Aurora's Tip below. While grinding, microscopic pieces break off the crystals. In this way the bit sharpens itself as the crystals in the next layer take over. The result of this galvanic process is an extremely long life. Diamond crystals are not so securely held in a traditional process resulting in a shorter life. See diagrams above.
